Samvid Gurukulam Celebrate Guru Purnima
Guru Purnima is a spiritual day to pay tribute to the teachers, mentors, gurus and all those who directly or indirectly teach us anything. A Guru is the one who teaches us basic etiquette, manners and ways to think, grow and learn the arts and science of life. They make us learn to love, care and feel for all, including animals and nature. A guru is the one who makes us comprehend the basic difference between animals and human beings.
Samvidians also celebrated this auspicious day as a fun and learning activity where students draw, dance and depict their sense of respect towards the teachers and parents and mother nature. By having such activities children learn to draw their feelings, communicate their feelings, by various methods and mediums. In today’s world, communication is the best skill to learn and such activities make these tiny toddlers the masters of this art.
Samvidians pay their tribute to the teachers. This tribute is shown to be an eternal feel in the Sanatan Dharm where we make our children learn the importance and significance of our teachers, mentors and respect them for the hard work they put in for our bright future. It is one of those occupations where a teacher has to go through the content regularly.
This drawing is by a student of class 1. The thing which amazes us is the level of respect in the mind of a tiny toddler, who is studying in class 1, which is awesome. With the growing times, this respect and affection will grow slowly and gradually. This feeling develops a mutual bond between a student and a teacher and this world become a better place to live, as a civilized society.
This image is drawn by Samragyee, a disciple of class 8th. The belief she portrayed in this image touches us deep inside. The hand she holds is of her mother, who has made her learn the basics of life.
Siya is studying in class 5th. She is offering flowers to the feet of her guru and touching feet shows the highest level of respect. In our culture, it is our cultural value to touch the feet of our elders.
Celebrating such festivals makes us learn the value system that our ancestors have offered us. Respect is a feeling that makes us bow down to the one who deserves it.
These children in the images are at their initial age of learning things, exploring newer ideas and the dedication they have shown to these drawings is amazing. These festivals and events make our young generation adapt to the cultural roots because it makes us learn the ways and means to enjoy, celebrate and live life happily.
The aforeshown picture is drawn by a child of junior KG and one can connect with the message shivanshi has tried to convey. Her understanding is crystal clear. Nature is our mother and that is why we all should respect and conserve nature.
Multiple posters, dance acts and poetry recitation was done on this occasion of Guru Purnima. Once again, Samvidians show a high degree of interest to celebrate because the celebration is the way, we lead our life and Live Happily.
Wishing you all a very Happy Guru Purnima.
