Doctors are considered as the cream of society. They are the intellectual elite of any country. People respect them. They are the Key Opinion Leaders. Their advice is thoroughly followed.

Students

What makes doctor a doctor is a story of sheer brilliance that comes through hard work, hunger to learn and grasp the practical aspects of anatomy and physiology, willpower and zeal to cure the disease.

felicitate the Best

The last two years have been challenging for the world, and India is no different. We, as Indians, are shocked by the novel coronavirus. In a country like India, where infrastructure, access to tertiary care, and good treatment options are limited, enormous crowds roaming around the streets made it difficult for clinicians to get over the increasing number of corona patients.

In this process of patient treatment with increasing demand for oxygen and bed made it even worse for them to keep calm, composed and safe. It became imperative to cure the patients as early as possible because longer the hospitalization, higher the chances of getting other ailments. In this course of action, more than 798 doctors lost their lives (as per IMA, till 25th June). They worked continuously for more than n number of days; they stopped visiting their families and struggled to cope with the patient’s relatives and patients under deep stress due to health issues.

felicitate the Best

They are handling all these challenges, along with staying safe, in an environment full of pathogens, including viruses and deadly bacteria like Staphylococcus Aureus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, and Haemophilus Influenzae makes like even challenging to survive and recover the patients lying on the bed, without proper diet and nutrition. In an ICU, the pathogens are so contagious that more than one-fourth of the patient develops co-morbidities, i.e., more than one infection or ailment at a time.

Gratitute is important

Such a stressful and risky lifestyle does not derail them away from their sense of service to humanity. Such is the valor and patience of a doctor that he fights against pathogens and makes it sail through, no matter how risky it is to treat those like life-threatening carriers of infections. This struggle to win in every case makes them courageous as a soldier guarding the borders. A soldier fights with abnormal weather conditions, enemies, and animals (in few cases like the Bangladesh border). On the other hand, a doctor fights against different bacterial, viral, fungal, and protozoal infections plus takes care of the threats of medico-legal cases and the patient’s relative’s anger.

felicitate the Best

Such efforts make a doctor respectful in our society. Their attempt to get patients out of the hospital is a journey of courage, hardships, academic brilliance, and regular access to medical knowledge.

Rakhi

As an educational institute of prime importance, Samvid Gurukulam has always felicitated the heroes of our society. Under the flagship program of ‘Raksha Sutra,’ the daughters of the school tie rakhi to the hands of soldiers serving across the border.

Gratitude is a token of Respect

This year these daughters have decided to honor those, who share their knowledge, reduce the mortality rates by their excellent practices and keep the death rates among the lowest per million cases. These doctors help the government prepare the vaccine within a stipulated timeframe and vaccinate a maximum number of people across the globe. More than the entire population of the US has been vaccinated in India.

This event got started with the Deep Prajwalan (Enlighten) by Param Pujya Didi Maa Ji. Shreya Shukla of Class X hosted the event. The daughters sang the song ‘Mere Desh ka Kya Kehna’ followed by a dance performance of the tiny toddlers. After this performance, Vishakha of class XI recited a poem, followed by a dance performance by the samvidian daughters.

Token of Respect

Some of the renowned key opinion leaders like Dr. BM Gupta, Dr. Manoj Gupta, Dr. BC Goyal, Dr. Charu Jain, Dr. Ajit Singh, Dr. Harsh Gupta, Dr. Anshu Sharma, Dr. G.C. Chaturvedi, Dr. Vartika, Dr. Gulshan, and Dr. Dinesh were among the respected attendees.

Respect

The principal Mrs. Aastha Ji Bhardwaj, who planned this event a success, delivered a thanksgiving speech to the clinicians and paid her gratitude to all of them. In a society like ours, it is imperative to boost up the morale of soldiers and doctors. By keeping our society at the lowest percentage of death rates, doing the highest testing across the globe, and delivering the best results with ICMR and companies, these doctors have proved their worth once again for the susceptible society.
